Accreditated meter testing laboratory
The laboratory is accredited under MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (SAMM 790) by Jabatan Standards Malaysia. Residential and industrial electric meters are tested, verified, and calibrated against Malaysian utility requirements and international metrology rules.
Reference class accuracy is 0.02% and 0.05%, traceable to national measurement standards, in a controlled laboratory environment on automated Shengdi benches.
SAMM 790 Accredited
- Accreditation covers calibration and verification of electric meters
- Residential and industrial units on the same reference chain
- Traceable reference accuracy to 0.02%
- Automated test benches with stored serial and result files
What the laboratory actually runs
These are the accredited procedures on the benches — not a separate service list. Certificates are issued against this scope.
Active & reactive energy
Verification for active (Class 1 & 2) and reactive (Class 2 & 3) meters on automated Shengdi test benches.
Starting & no-load
Starting-current sensitivity and creeping (no-load) tests so meters hold under MS ISO/IEC 17025 limits.
Register & certification
Dial and register checks plus limit-of-error certification for Standards Malaysia compliance files.
How the work reaches the grid
Calibration is the laboratory above. These two offerings cover what happens after a meter is certified — and the paperwork utilities ask for before it is installed.
AMI integration
RF mesh and cellular planning, meter deployment, and connection to the head-end or MDMS. Hardware and software sit on the product pages; this is the field and systems work that makes them run as a network.

Results that travel
Calibration from this laboratory is issued under SAMM and recognised through the ILAC MRA. Certificate details, ISO 9001, and the full scope live on the accreditation page — they are not repeated here.
